Image of the ancient unfinished Alai Minar at New Delhi, India. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Name after Alauddin Khalji (1296-1312), it was supposed to be double the height of the existing tallest ancient minar (stone tower) in India, the Qutub Minar. Unfortunately the minar was not finished due to the death of the builder.
